The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) conducted a specialized training event in Philadelphia on Thursday, attended by roughly 80 law enforcement officers from across the southeastern region of Pennsylvania. This forum took place at the Alan Horowitz “Sixth Man” Center and aimed to equip police with the skills to identify and tackle antisemitism in its various modern manifestations.
The session featured several speakers, including Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel, and CAM’s EJ Kimball. Kimball emphasized the ongoing high levels of antisemitism, particularly following the October 7th incident in Israel. He highlighted the complexities of recognizing the motivations behind antisemitic acts, given their often coded language. CAM continues to collaborate with law enforcement to facilitate the protection and nurturing of Jewish communities globally.
