A US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot a man on Thursday afternoon in New York City’s Marble Hill neighborhood. According to Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the shooting occurred while agents had surrounded the man and a five-year-old child in his vehicle. Fortunately, the child was reported to be physically unharmed. The man who was shot was conscious when taken to the hospital, as stated by the NYPD.
