Former President Donald Trump expressed discontent on Friday regarding his failure to receive the Nobel peace prize for the year 2026, a time when he began military action against Iran. During a rally intended for fellow Republican candidates in Syracuse, New York, Trump utilized a significant portion of his address to express grievances towards the Nobel committee.
He stated, “The United States of America, represented by me as your president, should have received the Nobel peace prize, but didn’t. And this is an indelible stain on the country of Norway, and those people that made such a disgraceful and embarrassing decision.” Trump further claimed that the Nobel prize had been undermined by individuals he described as anti-democracy radicals. He also promised that both the Iran and Russia-Ukraine conflicts would be resolved swiftly.
